Preparation Tips
CDP carries 30 marks in Paper 2 as well. Focus on Piaget, Vygotsky, Kohlberg, RTE Act 2009, CCE, and inclusive education — these topics dominate across both papers.
Mathematics (30 marks) covers NCERT Class VI–VIII content — Number System, Algebra, Geometry, Mensuration, Data Handling. Practise solving NCERT exercises for each chapter.
Science (30 marks) spans Food, Materials, Living World, Natural Phenomena, Natural Resources, Moving Things, and Environment. Read NCERT Class VI–VIII Science textbooks chapter by chapter.
Pedagogical questions in Maths and Science carry significant weight. Know the "Nature of Mathematics/Science", problem-solving approaches, and common misconceptions children have.
Language pedagogy questions are predictable — revise language acquisition, LSRW skills, and remedial teaching. These 10–12 marks per language section are highly scorable.
