Preparation Tips
Part A (Punjabi) is qualifying only — scoring 50% (25/50) is enough. Prioritise Part B subjects where merit is determined.
Punjab History & Culture and GK together account for 42 marks in Part B. Focus on Sikh history, Punjab reorganisation, and current affairs from the last 12 months.
Reasoning (25 marks) is the highest-weighted section in Part B. Daily practice on series, analogies, coding-decoding, and data tables will significantly improve your score.
Negative marking of ¼ per wrong answer applies in Part B. Attempt only those questions where you are reasonably confident — random guessing will cost you marks.
ICT carries 8 marks and is tested at a basic level. Revise MS Office features, internet fundamentals, and Punjab e-governance portals — these are easy marks that many candidates skip.
